Our Story
Beacon Tax & Accounting, P.C. was formed in 2020, however we have been providing exceptional service to our clients for many years (our longest tenured client has been with us for over 20 years!). The primary focus of tax services that our client base has relied upon for years was expanded in 2020 to offer a wide range of accounting services through the expertise of a licensed CPA.
CPA and owner, Darren Lillie, started his career in public accounting in 2008 in Buffalo, New York. After leaving public accounting, Darren went on to perform roles from staff auditor for a publicly traded bank up through finance executive for a business service outsourcing company. It was in 2020 that Darren and his wife realized their longstanding dream of moving to Maine. Shortly thereafter, Darren’s personal dream of small business ownership came to fruition, when he founded Beacon Tax & Accounting, P.C..
Our office is proudly located in Manchester, ME. We are an expert in all areas of Maine taxes. We also have clients in all parts of the country and even abroad. This makes us well versed in individual or business taxes, tax resolution, tax preparation, tax planning and business outsourcing wherever you live.
